i have no idea what they were talking about. but he said “people can have two moms.” and she said “yeah a mom and a step mom.” when he replied with “if they love you then it doesn’t matter if they are a step mommy or not. i want two moms. moms are cooler than dads anyways.”
My classmate from music school, Erika Johnson, does these incredible tracks of arrangements she not only creates herself, but performs everything, from all the back up to all the vocals. Great to have folks in my life with whom I share musical sensibilities …
Cheesy “cracker-sandwiches”—you know, the kind filled with cheese—with my cup of tomato-basil pasta soup. what a nice variation on a theme! (I would have liked to have created photographic evidence, but yeah, I was hungry!)
Here I am in this new and much more highly connected medium of communication, sorta like a digital middle between LiveJournal of the 2000s and the more recent Twitter (which this Tumblog is actually connected to). Or maybe it’s not even in-between, but sort of a hybrid, with the video and photo-capabilities, right out-of-the-box, so to speak, which is not quite what the two former comparisons offered. And also more connected in that I’m having the posts distributed not only via Twitter but to my Facebook account as well. Having well over 8 years of posts on LJ, I’m not trying to slight or even “defect” to another medium. (I do fully intend to carve out more time to post to my LJ.) Not at all. This is just more of exploration for me, to see what this platform does and where it may go, in this most socially-connected of times.
